Thoughtful Thursday will be the day that I share tips, tricks, and hacks. The very first one will be an easy way to store Christmas decorations and/or ornaments. I’ve been doing this a few years, but can’t remember where I saw it. You only need a few items.
First, grab your materials. Any size storage container, a roll of foam (you could use an egg crate/bed cushion type material,) and something to cut the material. I used a box cutter.
Second, use the bottom of the storage container as your guide for the size to cut the foam.
Third, make sure that piece fits. You can use that piece to cut the remaining foam.
Fourth, put a layer of the foam in the bottom of the plastic container. Carefully place your ornaments/decorations on the foam.
Fifth, add another piece of foam on top of the items, then add more decorations. Repeat until your container is full.
That’s it! Simple, convenient, easy storage. The best thing about this is that it can accommodate any shape or size of ornament.
