Today was a pretty good day. It was special needs day at Chuck E. Cheese’s where they have the lights up and sounds down. ♥️ We played and ate yummy pizza! Next up was The Home Depot for a few supplies- weather stripping to hopefully cut wind sounds in my Jeep, extension cord for Christmas lights, and a new plant to replace the ivy that I guess I killed. 🤦🏻♀️A nice lady tried to stop me for a survey and I quickly explained to her about the boys’ autism and that my time was limited. About that time, Jake let out a huge sneeze that almost hit her and she took off. 😳🤣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our next stop was @publix for my favorite creamer and a few other things. I’m truly surprised because the boys only tried to grab a couple of things. 🙌🏼 I consider that a huge win!
Our last stop was getting the oil changed Valvoline USA .We were third in line and all three bays were backed up. By the time it was our turn, the boys had enough, but they still did great! 😍
Today proved my theory, my boys won’t learn how to act in public unless I take them out in public. Yes, sometimes it can get ugly, but these are huge moments for my little guys and it’s best to remember patience and grace.♥️
